Thrive Tutors Right to Cancel or Refund Policy

Thrive Tutors reserves the right to cancel or refund orders prior to service delivery, even if the order has been previously accepted. Situations where this may apply include, but are not limited to:

Service Availability:

If Thrive Tutors’ tutors or scheduling systems are unable to accommodate the requested session(s). If pre-order product targets are not met, orders will be refunded in full.

Unforeseen Circumstances:

Events beyond Thrive Tutors’ control (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, or other extraordinary events) prevent timely delivery of services.

Errors or Miscommunication:

Typographical errors or discrepancies regarding service details, pricing, or scheduling are identified and acknowledged by Thrive Tutors.

Verification Requirements:

Orders flagged for additional verification (e.g., for security or fraud prevention). If required documentation is not provided within a reasonable timeframe, the order may be cancelled.

If an order is cancelled, customers will be eligible for a refund. The original payment amount refunded to the original payment method.

This policy ensures fairness and transparency while prioritising customer satisfaction.

Cancellation Policy

Rescheduling a Lesson:

If you need to reschedule a booking, you may do so within your calendar up until the tutor has accepted the booking. After a booking has been accepted, you will be required to follow the cancellation policy outlined below.

Cancelling a Lesson:

If you are unable to complete your lesson, you may cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before your lesson start time. The lesson will be cancelled, and payment will not be taken from your account.

If you cancel with less than 24hours notice, the lesson will be forfeited, and you will not receive a refund for the price of that lesson. We will retain the balance of the lesson as a cancellation fee.

You agree that the cancellation fee is a genuine pre-estimate of our loss and is reasonable having regard to the nature of our business. If the Tutor cannot provide a lesson, the Tutor will contact you to reschedule at a mutually agreed time. If the lesson cannot be rescheduled and needs to be cancelled, you will be provided a credit to reschedule with another tutor.

Please keep in mind that repeat cancellations from parents and/or tutors may see your account placed under review and possibly terminated.

Cancelling a Subscription:

You may cancel your account subscription at any time, by updating your account settings. You are solely responsible for cancelling your subscription.

You agree that all subscription payments prior to the date of cancellation, will not be refunded. You agree that this is reasonable due to the nature of our business and the use of our service during that time.  

If you cancel before your next billing date, you will not be charged any future payments.
