In case you haven’t heard, our new Thrive Student Planner has just launched and we are SO THRILLED to be sharing this with the world.
We have spent the past 6 months carefully designing every aspect of this planner, consulting with experts, teachers, parents and more to ensure each element was thoughtfully designed for students.
With a focus on organisation, goal-setting, and personal growth, this planner is your child’s companion in achieving academic and personal success.
Let’s dive into what makes the Thrive Student Planner unique and how it can transform your child’s learning in 2025.
Why a Student Planner?
Success doesn’t just happen—it’s planned. The Thrive Student Planner is here to bridge the gap between ambition and achievement. It’s designed to encourage children to:
- Organise: Keep track of tasks, deadlines, and priorities and take ownership of their learning journey.
- Empower: Encourage children to set goals and stay motivated for the year ahead.
- Motivate: Inspire students to develop habits that support success.
- Thrive: Ensure all students have an opportunity to thrive, by utilising the all-in-one Literacy and Numeracy toolkit located in the back of the planner.
What's Inside the Planner?
All About Me Section
- The All About Me section is a space for students to write down important information including name, emergency contacts and their favourite things.
- It’s a fun area for students to get to know themselves
Goal Setting
-
Setting goals is key to success, and the Thrive Student Planner makes it easy to define and achieve them.
-
Students are encouraged to write down three goals as well as how they are going to achieve each goal.
Weekly Overview
The planner begins with a space for students to plan their month, week and days.
- Monthly Calendar: Every month begins with a blank calendar for students to fill in. The dates have been left blank throughout the planner as we wanted students to deepen their knowledge of time and truly understand how calendars and dates work.
- Days of the Week: Each page is split into manageable sections to write important events, tasks or reminders for each day of the week (including weekends).
- To Do List: A section to list the most important tasks for the week.
- Spelling List: Here, parents can write down a list of words for children to practice that week or students can write down their school spelling list so they never forget the words they are revising.
- Reading Log: Stay on track with reading development by logging books that have been read throughout the week. It could also be used as a challenge each week, to see how many books your child can read.
On each page, students will also find a motivational quote to empower them and build confidence levels throughout the year, as well as a mini activity for those fast finishers!
My Creative Space
Learning isn’t always linear, and this section offers flexibility.
- Free Space: Perfect for brainstorming, note-taking, or jotting down ideas.
- Creative Outlet: Doodle or sketch during downtime to recharge creativity.

World Geography
One of my favourite sections is our World Geography space! In here, students have the opportunity to explore the flags of every country in the world, as well as continents and oceans.
We really wanted to include a space where students could develop their understanding of different emotions and feelings and learn how to recognise which emotions they are feeling. In this space, students will find:
- Visual examples of each emotion as well as a brief explanation as to what this emotion may look and feel like in themselves and others.
- The different zones of emotions.
- Emotional regulation strategies that can help them move from each zone.
Who Is This Planner For?
The Thrive Student Planner is very flexible but has been designed with students aged 7 to 12 in mind. We have decided not to put a specific age or year level on this resource, as we know each child is unique and has different learning needs. A student in Year 1 might be advanced and benefit from extending themselves with this planner, whilst a Year 6 student may benefit from revising core concepts that are outlined in this resource.
This planner is perfect for students in mainstream classrooms, distance education, or homeschool settings. It encourages independence by giving students the tools they need to track their progress, build confidence in their core subjects, and develop lifelong learning skills.
The Thrive Student Planner is also a fantastic reinforcement tool for parents to support their child’s learning journey at home, making it easy to stay on top of assignments, goals, and priorities.
